Audioquest
AudioQuest was founded in 1980 by audiophile Bill Low. While Low’s business may have been established at that time, the very crux of AudioQuest’s innovative designs was in the making for many years.
In high school Low began toying with audio and sold homebuilt equipment to his schoolmates to make some pocket change. Since then, Low's innovative creations have changed the ways wires are built. In the fall of 1980, Low constructed a six conductor cable, the LiveWireLitz Green. Low’s design has become a standard within the wire industry. Currently, all cables are at least four conductors thanks to Low’s cable.
AudioQuest’s success took off in the 80’s and by 1981, their products were distributed worldwide. Low's smalltown business hit it big in a small period of time and has not slowed down since. Currently, this recognizably largest high end cable supplier, is sold in over sixty countries and through hundreds of dealers in the US. Surprisingly enough, AudioQuest cables are reasonably priced and do not break the bank despite their quality performance. Shoppers can purchase AudioQuest cables through authorized dealers worldwide.
